Mike Blum, Co-Founder/Chief Technical Officer
Mike has the responsibility for all Web programming and technical development at Digital Dogs. His focus is finding technology solutions to business problems, and he has over eleven years’ experience providing Internet marketing and e-commerce solutions for organizations such as American Express, Arizona State University, Avnet, Computer Associates and Motorola. Mike holds his degree from the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California, and he worked in industrial/scientific photography before turning to Web technologies in the early 1990s.
Richard Docter, Co-Founder/Chief Creative Officer
Richard has over twenty-four years’ experience in graphic design, and more than fourteen years’ experience in the development of Web-based graphical user interfaces. He has produced Web interfaces for companies such as Cyclone Commerce, Guess Jeans, Motorola, and Centex Homes. Rich earned his Fine Arts degree from the University of Arizona and worked as art director for a litigation graphics firm in Los Angeles before moving his family to Phoenix in 1995. Rich’s responsibilities at Digital Dogs include creative direction, brand imagery development, graphic design and project management.
Colleen Crosby, Account Manager
Colleen brings over twenty years’ experience in client relations, project management, marketing communications, advertising and eleven years’ experience of web development and support. She has a proven track record of helping such organizations as Apollo Group, Centex Homes, Cyclone Commerce and Motorola build quality relationships with internal & external clients, improve brand awareness and exceed sales goals. Colleen grew up in the Valley of the Sun, earned a BA in Psychology from CSU Long Beach and holds an Arizona real estate license.
Sarah Muñoz-Bates, SEM Specialist
Sarah has 5 years of experience in the field of search engine marketing, working at a top SEO agency and as an in-house specialist before joining the Digital Dogs team. She enjoys the challenge of analyzing a website and developing a custom plan for achieving top results in the search engines. Over the years, she has worked with businesses in various industries, devising and implementing SEO strategies that not only increase traffic to the clients’ websites but also improve conversions. Sarah holds a degree from Eureka College in Illinois.
Timothy DeDecker, Senior Developer
Tim’s career began in the field of web engineering and development. As Sr. Web Developer, Tim uses advanced developing techniques to customize websites, modify existing sites, and create web-based applications. Tim works closely with our design team to take a two dimensional design concept and develop it into a fully-functioning, interactive website using the latest technologies and applications. Tim is proficient in AJAX, CSS, HTML, Javascript, Joomla, X-Cart, OsCommerce, JQuery, LAMP, Linux, MySQL, PHP, PHPFox, Ruby on Rails, Smarty Template Engine, SQL, VBscript, Visual Basic.Net, and XML.
Edward Wilhite, Developer
As a Developer, Ed uses advanced developing techniques to customize websites and modify existing sites. Ed works closely with the development team on updating and creating websites using the latest technologies and applications. Ed is proficient in CSS, HTML, Javascript, Joomla, X-Cart, OsCommerce, WordPress, Linux, MySQL, PHP, and XML.
Lisa Docter, Office Manager
Lisa has over 17 years of retail sales and buying experience at Dillards and Robinsons/May. Her time at these companies developed her passion for working with numbers. This coupled with 2 years’ experience as a quality assurance analyst for JDA Software, a retail software company, transitioned her into the computer world. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising & Marketing from the University of Arizona. She now serves as Digital Dogs’ office manager doing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, budget analysis, financial statements and human resources.
Milos Glavinic, Senior Programmer
Milos has over eight years of experience in web development, and at Digital Dogs he is a senior programmer. He has a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from the College of Transportation and Traffic Engineering. He has extensive experience in working with a multitude of technologies used to create websites and complex web applications, such as PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, MySQL, MSSQL, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, C#, VB.NET, Silverlight, Flex, jQuery, and actionscript. He’s also proficient in Symfony, ZendFramework, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Smarty, and LAMP. He codes in Linux, Windows and Mac operating environments. In the past, he worked intensively on the development of desktop applications and 2D and 3D games.
Vladan Milanovic, Senior Developer
Vladan serves as Digital Dogs’ principal Java programmer and lead architect for our Contrado product line. His responsibilities include ongoing Contrado development and technical management of C++ and Java projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Belgrade, and worked for FilmEcNet in Los Angeles and PCTEL in Chicago prior to joining the Digital Dogs’ team.
Heather Morton, Intern
Heather is a summer intern at Digital Dogs. She is currently a senior at the University of Arizona studying graphic design. Heather works with the chief creative officer to create graphical needs for websites and collateral materials. She is proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and has knowledge in Adobe Dreamweaver, and Flash.
